Isaac Cofie wants to quit Chievo Verona for more playing time

Ghana midfielder Isaac Cofie could leave Italian Serie B side Chievo Verona in the January transfer window for more playing time.

The 21-year-old has made only eight appearances for the side since moving from Genoa this summer.

Two clubs in the Serie B Padua and Bari have expressed interest in signing on the holding midfielder.

Last week, reports in the Italian media claimed Cesena have contacted Chievo Verona about his availability.

Cofie made his debut for Ghana in September last month in a friendly against Liberia.
