Ghana midfielder Edwin Gyimah suffered heartache in the South African Cup after SuperSport United were bundled out of the competition by giants Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday.
The 23-year-old was in full time action but was unable to avoid Matsatsantsaââ¬â¢s elimination from the quarter final stage of the knockout competition.
Kaizer Chiefs left it late to clinch progression into the last four with an injury time brace by midfielder George Lebese.
The defeat ends SuperSportââ¬â¢s chances of winning any silverware this season.
Cavin Johnsonââ¬â¢s side must now shift their focus towards making a strong finish in the Premier League with just four games to the end of the season.
