Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu is confident he will overcome his injury worries.
The 22-year-old has been sidelined after he aggravated his troublesome knee injury during Udinese’s Uefa Europa League victory at Liverpool on October 4.
The injury ruled him out of the decisive return leg of the 2013 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Malawi last weekend.
There are fears he could face a lengthy spell on the sidelines if he doesn’t take time to heal properly before returning to action.
But the workaholic midfielder is confident he will return to the pitch stronger than before.
“Everything is going on well and the treatment has been fine. I am pretty sure I will back in no time,” Badu said
“It has been difficult but I am a strong character. I will overcome the problem and return to the pitch much stronger.
“Injuries happen all the time. It is part of the work and anyone can get hurt at any time.
“I don’t believe any one is responsible for my injuries. My focus is to get back to my best and I’m on the road to full time recovery.”
Badu is a key member of the Black Stars and his return to full fitness will be needed desperately for the team ahead of next year’s Nations Cup in South Africa.
Masa,u cant cheat nature!age is catching up on u.u are the grandpa among the victorious 2009 u-20 team.Wishing u a speedy recovery bro!
@real sabacious, u need to be guided by the statements you make.
The likes of drogba, seedorf, cole, etc are old guys but hardly injured.
Persie, pato, fabregas etc at a young age still get injured.
I agree 22 is not his real age but it’ll be ignorant for anyone to think a single player in the world uses his real age.
So becareful how you condemn someone cos of hs age.
@saxcee I think it was a joke
