Ghana international midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu is confident Michael Essien will be a huge success at AC Milan after he completed his move from Chelsea on Friday night. 

The 31-year-old midfielder arrived in Milan on Friday evening to undergo medicals on Saturday ahead of a proposed two-season deal.

Essien had been linked with the Rossoneris since December but had to beat competition from PSG, Galatasaray and West Ham United to sign him.

And, Badu believes Essien aggressiveness and powerful will make him a huge success in the Serie A.

“I’m obviously delighted with his move you know. He’s strong and will be more than successful here,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

Badu revealed in the past Michael Essien inspired him to reach higher heights in his career.
