Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has rejoined Italian Seria A side Udinese after playing in Ghana’s World Cup qualifying win over Egypt.
The 22-year-old arrived in Milan on Thursday dawn before quickly transiting to Udine to join his club team-mates ahead of their weekend Serie A clash against AC Milan.
The workaholic midfielder will begin training with the rest of the Udinese squad later in the evening and join the trip to Milan to face the Rossoneris.
Badu was a second-half substitute in Ghana’s 6-1 hammering of Egypt in the 2014 World Cup qualifying play-off and nearing got on the score-sheet but his thunderous bullet from 30 yards was punched to corner by the Egyptian goalie.
Udinese are just above a mid-table spot and will be hoping to enjoy a positive results against an under-performing AC Milan side at the San Siro.
Udinese boss Francesco Guidolin is likely to name the enforcer in his midfield as he seeks favourable for his side.
