Midfielder Afriyie Acquah played his first match for Parma on Sunday since re-joining the Serie A club on loan this summer.
The Ghana international lasted the entire duration as the Gialloblu drew 0-0 at Catania.
Parma coach Roberto Donadoni selected the 20-year-old for the first time this season.
Acquah needs more game time to gatecrash Ghana’s squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup play-offs.
Acquah’s career has been stagnant since making a January move to German side TSG Hoffenheim.
He made 13 appearances for Parma during the first half of last season before he was transferred by his former club Palermo.
