Ghana midfielder Mohammed Abu makes full debut in France

Ghana midfielder Mohammed Abu played his first full game for Lorient in their 3-0 thrashing of Brest on Wednesday.

The 21-year-old held his won in midfield to help Les Merlus progress in the French Cup.

Abu arrived in the January transfer window on another loan spell from Rayo Vallecano.

The Right to Dream Academy graduate made the winter move to secure regular top flight action.

He has played only 16 minutes for Lorient prior to his full game on Wednesday.

The Manchester City player was part of the Ghana squad that finished fourth at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.
