Ghana legend Polo rallies support for coach Kwesi Appiah

Ghana legend Mohammed Polo is rallying support for coach Kwesi Appiah despite the Black Stars 1-0 defeat to Zambia in a 2014 World Cup qualifier.
Appiah saw his side struggled at the Levy Mwanawasa stadium and lost grounds at the top of group D.
The defeat has reignited talks of revamping the team with experienced players ahead of the next round of qualifiers.
But the former Hearts of Oak player believes the Black Stars will get better under the ex- international.
“We lost one game and all of a sudden we should change the team? It doesn’t work that way,” Polo said
“Defeat is part of the game. For me it’s rather a wake-up call for all of us and we should properly be happy it happened earlier in the qualifiers.
“I believe the team will get better. We just have to keep supporting the coach and encourage the men to do the job for us.
“We have done it in style before and we’ll do it again. I have no doubt in my mind,”
