Ghana legend Abedi Pele has arrived in Tanzania for a two-day working visit to promote youth  football.

The three-time African footballer of the year was accompanied by Fifa Development Officer in charge of East/South Africa Ashford Mamelodi and were welcomed with TFF president Leodegar Tenga and Technical Director Sunday Kayuni together with other officials.

“There are no shortcuts in success. Players with talents need to work more hard so as to perform at a very top level. Without hard work, and commitment you cannot succeed.”

“If those who are gifted with talents don't work hard, they won't go anywhere - but those without talents, when they work hard they reach far and have great achievements.

Pele attended a training program for Tanzania youth side 'Serengeti Boys' at the Karume Memorial Stadium, and said he was pleased with work done by TFF to create projects for youngsters.

Pele urged the Serengeti boys to make huge efforts and qualify for the African Youth Championships which will be held in Algeria earlier next year.
