Ghana hit with injuries ahead of final group game at CHAN
Theophilus Anobaah and Sulley Mohammed picked up injuries in the draw with Libya

Ghana’s team at the ongoing CHAN tournament has been hit with injuries after the second group game against Libya.

Key players Sulley Mohammed, Theophilus Anobaah and Yahaya Mohammed are all nursing injuries after Friday’s draw with the North Africans.

The affected players appear to have picked up ankle problems.

The injured trio sat out Saturday’s recovery session with their legs heavily strapped in ice.

It is readily unclear the severity of the injuries.

Yahaya Mohammed will either sway not be available for the Black Stars in the group’s final game against Ethiopia due to suspension after collecting his second yellow card of the tournament.

This means coach Maxwell Konadu is faced with the issue of finding adequate replacements for either suspended or injured players for Tuesday’s match against Ethiopia.
