Ghana FA Executive Committee member Wilfred Osei has prophesised doom for Ghanaââ¬â¢s campaign at the 2014 World Cup even in the spiritual realm.
The Black Stars have been drawn in a tough group alongside Germany, Portugal and the USA.
Many soccer pundits have already predicted a first round exit for Ghana and the USA in favour of three time winners and perennial underachievers Portugal.
And the Tema Youth chief who is on the powerful 22-man Ghana FA Executive Committee tends to agree with this notion.
Osei â⬓ popularly referred to as ââ¬ËPalmerââ¬â¢ â⬓ even adds it doesnââ¬â¢t look good for Ghana even in the spiritual realm even though he believes things can be done to salvage the situation.
ââ¬ÅFrom the herbal perspective, it doesnââ¬â¢t look good for Ghana as we speak today,â⬠he told Metro FM.
ââ¬ÅIt depends on what we do from now.
ââ¬ÅAnalyzing it purely from the technical angle and not being a Ghanaian, I will also say that it is a very difficult task handed to us.
ââ¬ÅSomeone will say I am being too pessimistic, being a defeatist, donââ¬â¢t I have any hope for mother Ghana?
ââ¬ÅI have hope and confidence for mother Ghana if only we have a game plan and the game plan should start from the FA.
ââ¬ÅFrom the Executive Committee level, from the Presidency up to those of us at the floor level. Those of us referred to as the football people.
ââ¬ÅWe should accept the fact that the task is not easy so any kind of advice, any kind of information given to Akwasi Appiah should be seen in a positive light.ââ¬
Ghana aims at going at least one place better than the quarter final finish last term in South Africa in next yearââ¬â¢s tournament in Brazil.
