Black Stars and Orlando Pirates Goalkeeper, Fatau Dauda has fired back at his critics who say he is not experienced enough to play at the World Cup insisting he has got the credentials to play at the global tournament.
Former Ghana keeper and trainer Abubakri Damba this week said that the South Africa goalkeeper is not a World Cup class goalkeeper.
Dauda said: “When we were going to the 2013 African cup of Nations, no one knew I could perform that better but we can all testify to how I protected the goal post for the Black Stars.” a report in Africa Top Sports read.
He believes the only way one can become a World cup goalkeeper is through training and hard work insisting that is and that is what he is doing at Orlando Pirates.
Fatau Dauda was very instrumental for the Black Stars at the 2013 AFCON in South Africa and has now promised to do more if not the same if the Stars qualify to the World Cup.
He now plays for Orlando Pirates after a move from Ashanti Gold.
