Ghana goalkeeper Fatau Dauda says he was in top shape in Friday’s 2-1 win over Zambia in the final Group D 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
The 27-year-old scored low marks after some nervy displays between the sticks.
Dauda, who has been inactive since moving to Orlando Pirates in July, dealt poorly with some aerial balls and was not convincing at all.
“If I compare my performance to this match and that of the Lesotho and Zambia I believe I have improved a lot,” Dauda told an Accra-based Joy FM.
“People have been saying I’m not active in South Africa but I want to prove to them that the form is there just that I have not been handed the chance.”
