Ghana forward Jordan Ayew played his full debut and lasted the entire duration for English Premier League side Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon as they drew 3-3 with Nottingham Forest in a pre-season game.

Villa boss Tim Sherwood lined up the former Olympique Marseille striker in attack as he partnered ex-Chelsea striker Scott Sinclair who bagged a hat-trick for the Villans.

The 23-year-old came close to winning the game for Villa in the 78th minute when he broke free on the right and cut down through two Villa defenders before flying a shot just off target.

Though the Black Stars forward could not get on target, his contribution in attack influenced manager Sherwood to keep on for the entire duration of the game.

He had earlier debuted in Villa's 2-2 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers but he played only the last 13 minutes of the game.

Jordan, the third son of African football legend Abedi Ayew, joined Villa from French Ligue 1 side Lorient for 14 million Euros.
