Coach David Duncan’s case against Hearts of Oak at the Ghana FA’s Status Committee will be settled on January 9.

The 50-year-old brought a case against his former employers to the Ghana FA over his dimissal.

Duncan’s representative argue his client’s contract was terminated illegally as per stated in the labour laws of Ghana.

The ex AshantiGold trainer is demanding more money in damages despite being paid off with three months of his salary worth GHS 21,000 (about $10,000).

Hearts on the other hand argue no law was broken in their dismissal of Duncan.

Both parties have had the opportunity to argue out their cases before the Ghana FA’s Status Committee.

The arbitrary body have now set January 9 as the date for final judgement.

Hearts have had to deal with boardroom legal issues while also trying to convince stubbornly irate fans the decision to sack Duncan was in the interest of the club.

The Phobians have fallen behind in their pursuit for the Ghana Premier League title and are now 3rd –seven points adrift leaders and rivals Asante Kotoko at the end of the first half of the season.
