Ghana CHAN team drew with Mali in Accra

Maxwell Konadu had a better assessment of his Local Black Stars side as his second string side held Mali to a 0-0 drawn game in an international friendly at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The Black Stars assistant trainer fielded players who could not have the chance to play in the GoTv Wafu tournament due to the limitation in the squad numbers.

Hearts of Oak captain Moro Abubakar returned to the starting line-up along with Asiedu Attobrah while Asante Kotoko keeper Isaac Amoako was also handed the gloves.

Medeama midfielder Kennedy Boateng showed classy performance and could have scored for Ghana but he missed narrowly.

Ghana used the game to prepare for the upcoming 2014 CHAN tournament in South Africa.
