Ghana will open her Group G campaign at the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals against familiar foes USA on 16 June in Natal.

This will be the third consecutive time the Black Stars will be meeting the Yankee Boys in the history of the finals.

In 2006, Ghana beat USA 2-1 in their final Group D match to advance to the round of 16 stage.

Four years later in South Africa, the last World Cup tournament, the four-time African champions needed an Asamoah Gyan extra-time strike to record a 2-1 win.

Ghana's second Group B match will be against Germany in Fortaleza on 21 June in a repeat of their last Group D match at 2010 finals where they lost 1-0 at the Soccer City Stadium.

Kwesi Appiah's charges will face a Portugal side inspired by in-form Cristiano Ronaldo on 26 June in Brasilia.
