Ghana FA to hold seminar on FIFA Regulations on working with Intermediaries Monday

The Ghana Football Association will hold a stakeholders meeting on Monday 30th March for the FIFA Regulations on Working with Intermediaries.

The new regulations will supersede the FIFA Players' Agents Regulations from 1st April, 2015.

Representatives of Premier and Division Clubs are expected to meet at the GFA Secretariat (Conference room)to deliberate on the modalities for the new FIFA regulation.

The stakeholders will also be taken through the new regulations to ensure compliance and better understanding of it.

A similar seminar will be held at the Regional Football Associations for clubs at the lower tier and colts clubs.

With the coming into force of the FIFA Regulations on Working with the Intermediaries, the previous Player Agent licensing system shall be abandoned and all existing licences issued by the GFA will lose its validity with immediate effect on 1st April, 2015 and shall be returned to the GFA.

The new FIFA Regulations on working with Intermediaries was approved by the FIFA Executive Committee on 21st March, 2014 at its meeting at Zurich. Switzerland.
