   @Wyzedon,di’matteo is a coach dat cannot gamble wit his selection as he av his own career as a coach so as essien,d fact is dat essien is totally out of form & wit him on d bench,chelsea won d champion’s league.hw do u expect d coach to manage sumbody in a final again d home team @ Allians arena.who can even score own goal if under pressure.if d didn’t perform they will sack him

     @sunnypa–you are a pillock,moron and a prick.Have you read UEFA analysis of chelsea?Of their last three matches of the champions league,their opponents created 70 chances ,whilest chelsea only managed 20.
     Di mateo is rubbish,no wonder he is only being offered one year contract.Chelsea won the champions league and the FA cup purely because the players wanted to prove a point that AVB was wrong with his tactics.
     You are giving a biased analysis of ESSIEN but how effective is MIKEL.A midfielder with no creativity .No wonder chelsea is deemed the most undeserve UEFA champions.
     Di mateo did not give Essien chance to bounce back.See how he chose KALOU over Torres.How do you anylise Torres then.
     Essien made mistakes but he did well playing against blackburn and there are so many of my colleagues here in the UK who can’t believe why Essien was not used in the final.Chelsea won the cup but they were stale.Only two corners against over twenty from BAYERN.

   @benny so what. Whether 2 against 21 corners or 20% to 80% it the end that justifies the ,means. In final matches goals, statistics n any other rubbish do not count, but what matters is the winner. He used Kalou instead of torrees, so what? He is the trainer and know their capabilities, stamina,temperaments,intelligence n many more and he knows the arsenals to use to succeed n you are in that village talking rubbish.

   Essien even losing form is far of better than any defensive midfielder in chelseafc. Even out of but still attracting high profiled teams lyk real madrid and juventus. Di matteo is novice other than that he wouldn’t have used Kalou over Torres and bertrand as a winger. Essien is the only surviving box to box midfielder left now in the team. Can u count the number of errors caused by mikel. A player who does not advance in football. Been coached by mourinho,avran grant, scolari,ancelotti,hiddink and avb but but still playing the childish futbal he use to play at age 9 years. Always given back pass. Let me tell u samtin even in the brazilian national team Essien will get playing time. Massa do the ff comparism u will know what am talking of. Most versatile midfielder in the chelseafc team. Longetivity , aggression, strong , creative, tactical, energetic and accuracy. Use the following criterials and you will know who is best. Talk with maturity. Now do you know the caliber of pple as can be compared ; players like steven gerald, makelele, seedorf, cambiasso, zenatti, roman requelme and others. Essien’s injury should not let u think he is just an ordinary player. Check it Urself Essien is number 47 of the best central midfielders of all time. Being one of the 8 current players still in play competiting with the legends. The lyks of basquet, parker, arteta, tiote, song, toure yaya, wilshier , khedira, alonso cannot even be compared to him na aba mikel . Talk with maturity and fact, dont just open ur mouth and Talk.    Essien didn’t even play so why are they congratulating him? Nonsense you congratulate someone when they have done work not sit on the bench and wait…if he could shine again (which I doubt will happen anytime soon) maybe he can get playing time otherwise he is no good and retirement should be his new friend

   Haba ghanaians! Take it easy! Essien has bin a great player for chelsea! Its time for him to move on! Pls leave Mikel alone! I know Mikel is good bt lacks confidence! Bt again every player musnt play like Messi, not even Christian Ronaldo! So I don’t tink Mikel must neccessarily play like Essien! Every player is unique!
