FIFA has granted the Ghana Football Association permission to extend the local calendar, which means the Premier League will now end on 4 June.

The world football's governing body had earlier instructed all national associations ended by 18 May to help World Cup finalists have adequate time to prepare for the tournament in Brazil.

The extension has allowed the Premier League Board to break the league for two weeks for all outstanding fixtures to be cleared.

With three more matches to go, the competition will bounce back May 21st with the match-day-28 fixtures, the Premier League Board announced on Friday.

The league's outstanding matches involving five teams - Medeama, Liberty, Heart of Lions, AshantiGold and Aduana - will be played between April 30, 2014 and May 18, 2014.

The final day matches of the season will be played on June 4
