Ghana FA Presidential aspirant Ofeibea Ramatu donated GHS 10,000 (about $2,631) and other items to the Black Queens ahead of their return leg All Africa Games qualifier against Zimbabwe.

Ghana hold a slim 2-1 advantage secured in the home leg of the qualifying tie towards the games to be staged later this year in Congo Brazzaville.

Ofeibea Ramatu who has declared her intentions to contest against incumbent Kwesi Nyantakyi for the GFA Presidency made the donation on Wednesday in her bid to boost the confidence and morale of the players ahead of the return leg encounter.

Some of the items donated aside the cash component include cartons of water, energy drinks and toiletries.

Ghana FA Executive Committee member in charge of the Black Queens Leanier Addy received the items on behalf of the team at their Ghanaman Soccer School of Excellence camping base.
