Ghana FA president Kwesi Nyantakyi has landed a fresh FIFA post as he has been appointed onto FIFA's Associations Committee to add to the affable football administrator's soaring reputation, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

Nyantakyi, who is one of the rising stars in African football administrator, looks to have been handed the post following his excellent work on the governing body's Organising Committee of the 2012 Olympic Games.

With the Olympic Games coming to an end, FIFA has decided to hand the Ghana FA boss a new position in the organisation to bring his qualities and administrative skills to bear on the organisation.

This is his second FIFA appointment after serving on the Organising Committee of football for the 2012 Games in London where his qualities were noted by leaders of football.

Nyantakyi is among 23 members who shall deal with relations between FIFA and its Members and draw up proposals for optimum cooperation and enhance the relationship between FIFA and federations across the globe.

He and his committee members shall also monitor the evolution of the Statutes and regulations of FIFA, the Confederations and Members.

The appointment is the latest boost to the reputation of Nyantakyi who is highly regarded in African football circles

The Ghana Football Association president is an Executive Committee member of CAF and recently elected chairman of the Fair Play and Social Responsibility of the continent's governing body.

He is also Vice-President of the Media Committee and a member of the Organizing Committee for the Africa Cup of Nations.

His diligence at work is what led CAF to hand him the key positions after just two years of working with Africa's football governing body

Nyantakyi will also represent West B on the Consultative Committee CAF/National Associations as he is the President of WAFU B.
