Hearts midfielder Laryea Kingston takes dig at Ghana FA

Midfielder Laryea Kingson says the ‘politicians’ in the Ghana FA are preventing his return to the national team.

The 32-year-old returned to the Ghanaian top flight a year ago in his bid to revive his career.

Kingston has however been inconsistent with his form since joining Hearts of Oak – where he has often been cited for indiscipline.

But the ex Lokomotiv Moscow playmaker insists he is good enough to at least be in the local Black Stars team but for ‘political’ Ghana FA officials.

“I see the GFA officials just don’t want to see my face in the national team,” he told Asempa FM.

“Otherwise I should be making a return by now following the efforts I have made.

“I don’t know why, they (Ghana FA officials) are politicians so I have stopped worrying myself over it.

“Are they saying all the players playing in the local league are better than me?

“I should be at least in the local Black Stars.”

Kingston is currently serving an indefinite suspension for assaulting a club official at Hearts.

David Berckamp aftr Madrid plyd galaxy,AC Milan, nd currently wth PSG plyng 4 charity nd wht abt u Laryea? David didn’t say he plyng 4 one of the bst clubs in de wrld so he mst b part of de english national team. Some of us r overseas nd stil hear hw dis old folk is a problem to his club home.U abuse ur plyng days so u wil never know when to train ur children to play whilst retire.Tell Laryea nobody ows him anythng to ply jst lik Berckamp wth PSG except owing himself eveythng.Laryea mst give Ghana a break.

Masa abodam,what 46yrs old have u seen playing in the national team in any country,Adwenda black stars y3 wonana dza,Awo mebo colts under 14, nna ebo Hearts of oak,I was 18 then,im now 35 and u are still 32, never knew some people age backwards. Eii as3m nyi.

This is unbelieverble, Laryea now degrading him self to local black stars? What a shame. He should try and change his character and move forward.
