The Ghana Football Association has started negotiations over the contract extension of German kit manufacturing firm Puma.

This was announced after a two-day Executive Committee meeting on Friday and Saturday in Accra.

Puma’s current contract expires in December this year after a first extension was signed in January 2008, a year before it run out.

The German firm first entered into a sponsorship deal with the Ghana FA in 2005 for a four-year period.

So far, both parties have expressed utmost satisfaction due to the performance of the national teams especially the Black Stars at major tournaments.

If talks break down, Kappa would try to table a mouth-watering proposal.
