AC Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari will ONLY be considered for a return to the Black Stars until his apologises to the Ghana FA, spokesman Ibrahim Sannie Daara has said.

Muntari, 30, is serving an indefinite suspension from the Black Stars after he was sacked from the team's camp during the 2014 World Cup over disciplinary grounds.

The midfielder was guilty of an unprovoked physical attack on an executive committee member of the Ghana FA during the country’s shameful conduct in the South American country.

There have been many clamouring calls for the recall of the  former Sunderland man but Ghana FA spokesman Ibrahim Sannie Daara insists he will only return if he offers an unqualified apology to the federation and Ghanaians.

“If Sulley wants to play for the Black Stars, there are modalities he must follow. The rule has been set and even Grant knows this, so he won’t return until he apologizes,” FA spokesman Sannie Darra told GTV.

The midfielder has struggled for form in recent time at AC Milan with reports in Italy suggesting that he will be shipped out at the end of the current campaign.
