The Black Stars will enjoy the services of an additional expert video analyst at the 2014 World Cup.

The Ghana FA has decided to employ the head of video analysis of English giants Manchester City as part of plans to strengthen the technical team for June’s tournament in Brazil.

The additional expert will be working alongside Michael Okyere who is the substantive video analyst of the Black Stars.

“We are bringing in an extra video analyst for the World Cup, meaning we will have two of them,” Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi disclosed to Hot FM.

“He is the head of video analysis at Manchester City.

“He is the one who analyses for the first team of Manchester City.”

The extra video analyst is one of several other experts being appointed by the Ghana FA as members of the Black Stars’ back room staff for the World Cup.

The support team includes famous Serbian therapist Mariana Kovacevic, an additional doctor and masseur.

They are being contracted on a short-term basis solely to help Ghana’s third successive appearance at the World Cup finals.

the flip floppers need to make up their mind. i’ve always been an advocate of hiring the best man for the job irrespective of their color. but for the many fools with an inferiority complex always advocating hiring a “black man” for any position, stop contradicting yourselves.

this is a good hire. it will not be criticized by anyone. meanwhile weeks ago when the rumors of a possible return of milo and that therapist, many cried foul mainly because they were white. make the issue about performance or resume (for that i will understand), not skin color. for all the cries of racism, we are no better ourselves…

    Mumbi is u again…

  3. OGYA says:

We dont care what anyone says, MILO is coming back to help his former protege. What goes around comes around. This will help Milo get a job of his own next time.

FA watch Kotoko behavior. They have begun to sell games. They sold their game with Liberty. They just sold game against Inter Allies all because they want Aduana to go on relegation. They heard Dwarfs massacring Lions and did nit feel their title aspiration was in danger so they allow injury time goal, a dubious goal.

Noone was criticisng Milo becasus of his skin color but because of his bad job ethics and his bad behavior with respect to the way and manner he left the job!! Forget about his so called tactical acumen and his WC qualifications and exploits, he left a very bad precedent when he left the bs job!! The fact of the matter is that, dossena did a very similar thing and now karma is paying him back with respect to finding a new African job( Ethiopia)!! Again, Milo was just taking advantage of Ghanaians due to the fact that this was a guy who has been fired by all his employees ever since he left Ghana and if this is not a bad shadow on his CV, then I wonder what it’s! He was fired by saudia Arabia, fire by Qatar, ignored by Egypt and again ignored by Benin and this should tell us that he is not good! It wouldn’t be SUICIDAL for Ghana if we have gone back to swallow this REPUGNANT VOMIT! Color is not the issue but COMMON SENSE CONQUERS COLOR and a lot of people uses their COMMON SENSE TO JUDGE FIRST before looking at what color the judge object is!!

With respect to the so called FAMOUS MAGICIAN, is even ridiculous to say the least!! There is no MAGICIAN that cure or heal players injuries within a short span!! People should start use their brains to think and reason small!! What the lady is doing is what is termed as QUACK MEDICINE and there is nothing more dangerous than using unapproving, untesting human or animal placenta to cure serious injuries!! The long time effect of this ad hoc treating can be devastating to say the least and that’s why serbs unlikely Ghana and other timid African countries has not employ the services of this QUACK DOCTOR with no medical license! Infact when she was asked to explain her treatment process she couldn’t and this should tell every SMART PERSONS that is not all UNCLE SAMS medicine that is magic! Finally, this quack, fake doctor has been treating our players ‘MAGICALLY’ in all major tournaments but we still play in these tournaments with ALVANCHE OF INJURED PLAYERS in almost all of our matches! My question is very simple, why doesn’t her MAGIC TREATMENTS WORKS ON THESE INJURED PLAYERS? Magic healer indeed!!

  7. Coach says:

@Selmade, spare us your big grammar, Appiah has shown over the years that he is technically and tactically inept. Why are guys foisting his ineptitude on us just because he is a Ghanaian? The hoopla about Appiah being technical genius is a sheer propaganda by shenanigans which is unacceptable

  8. WATATAMAN says:

Good one for analysis but what we needed most is one that can coach the players to shoot on penalties and free kicks.
Every department need special attention but our penalty department need needed it most.

  9. Barackat says:

Good idea wat!…but I think that could be an added responsibility of either the coach or his assist or even the keepers trainers, penalty is about psyche and spirit, most often the facial expressions of certain players would tell you the result of their penalties before they even kick the ball, players must not hasten or rush their penalties ,they must maintain a calm composure at all times and this through the coachs guidance and support.

  10. selfmade says:

Are there any perfect technical genius in the world? Show me one then? Your statement about tactical and technical ingenuity is not than a MYTH!!

  11. selfmade says:

If all coaches are tactically and technically PERFECT, the round leather game called football or soccer ll be a BORING GAME! Your so called perfect tactical and technical superiority are NOTHING than a figment of your own imagination and hence a MYTH! Come again mister!
