Ghana FA Exco. member wants quick return of Ayews’ into Black Stars

Posted On Thursday, 21st February 2013

Andre and Jordan are expected back into the Black Stars for the Sudan game

Tema Youth Sporting Director Winfred Osei Parma is demanding the immediate return of tried and tested players into the Black Stars especially Andre and Jordan Ayew.

Ghana was without at least four players at the 2013 African Cup of Nations as they failed to win the title.

Andre and his brother Jordan, Sulley Muntari and John Mensah are missed the action due to varied reasons.

The post-mortem of the team’s failure to nick the title which has been hard to pin down for the past 31-years has given reasons to quickly draft them back into the fold ahead of the qualifiers for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

The Executive committee member of the Ghana FA believes a re-call of the players will fortify the team.

“We have to put what has happened behind us and move on,” Osei Parma said

“Look at the performance of Sulley Muntari and Kevin Prince Boateng in the Uefa Champions League game against Barcelona. They should be back in the team.

“We also need especially Andre and Jordan back into the team and we’ll be difficult to beat.

The Black Stars will host Sudan in a tricky 2014 World Cup qualifier at the Baba Yara stadium on March 24.

Demanding? Ha.this sounds like interferrance. Who the hell is he to ‘demand’ the call up of players to the BS? No wonder Tema Youth are where they are. Tell him to listen gud, BS is not TY. And if i may asked, since when did jordan become an ‘xperienced’ player? Bcos of characters like this is the reason why BS is at where it is. Demand indeed! To hell with u corrupt excos. If u really noe what is gud 4 u, then damand that Tema Youth stop bribing referees. Demand my foot… Beat that…
