The delegation led by the President of the GFA Kwesi Nyantakyi have been visiting various match venues and facilities to acquaint themselves with the modern trends of managing league competitions in the developed world.
The delegation which includes chairman of the Premier League Board (PLB) Welbeck Abra-Appiah and Isaac Addo, the marketing manager of the GFA also attended various workshops organised by the managers of the German top-flight league.
Apart from visiting strategic football development sites in Germany, the delegations were lectured on marketing the game, media, television and other key aspects that helped the growth of the Bundesliga.
Vice President of the League Association Board of the Bundesliga, Peter Peters, who also holds the position as the Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board took the delegation through their operations.
They watched Schalke’s match against Hertha Berlin on Friday night before travelling to Leverkusen for their home against Eintracht Braunschweig on Saturday.
The Bundesliga league enjoys a reputation of excellence and was voted the world’s number one football league in terms of average attendance in 2010.

In this case, Supersport believe the tour will be of benefit to the delegation who in return will learn, gain insights and forge networks for the benefit of Ghana football.
