Ghana Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi has said the federation will no longer cover up acts of indiscipline in the camp of the Black Stars.

The federation has been forced to adopt drastic measures to curb ill-disciplined players after two players were thrown out of the team at the 2014 World Cup.

AC Milan ace Sulley Muntari was sent home after physically attacking a member of the Ghana FA without any provocation.

Midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng was also sacked after verbally abusing head coach Kwesi Appiah in the full glare of his teammates.

But Nyantakyi says that will not be made to happen again in the Black Stars camp.

“Henceforth we are going to confront indiscipline head-on and no one will be spared the rod,” Nyantakyi said at a press conference on Wednesday.

“In the past we have tried to sweep indiscipline under the carpet to ensure peace but this will never happen because it affected the team in our last campaign.

“You may be the best player in the team but if you fail to abide by the disciplinary codes, you will be shown the exit.”
