Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi has opened a two-day marketing seminar for the Premier League.

The two-day event which is being organized by Ghana Premier League television rights holders SuperSports is meant towards equipping club officials with the requisite marketing tools in order to attract sponsorship.

The seminar which is being held at the Forest Hotel in Dodowa will also help in fashioning ways towards promoting the Ghanaian top flight.

Lead marketing specialist Stanley Mathews has arrived from South Africa to take participants through the two-day course.

Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi expressed his profound gratitude to SuperSport for organizing such an event and prays it goes a long way towards improving the Ghanaian top flight.

“The aim of this seminar is to build the capacity of the clubs to ensure that they are able to attract sponsorship,” he said during the opening ceremony of the seminar.

“It is also to help us to promote our Premier League.

“We are very happy to have experts here to help us in attaining the requisite knowledge to help us enhance the league.

“I want to thank SuperSport for this initiative and we hope that by the end of this seminar, we would have achieved all the goals we set out to.”

The seminar forms part of SuperSport’s pledge of building local capacity since signing a partnership agreement – which makes them the television right holders for the Premier League and the FA Cup - with the Ghana FA last year.
