The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has boosted the four Ghanaian clubs participating on continental competition with a donation of $80,000 to help in their preparation.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea will play in the CAF Champions League while Medeama and Dwarfs will fight for the Confederation Cup title.

Each of the four clubs will get $20,000 each as the GFA supports the club from its lean coffers to ensure that they excel in the competition.

GFA President mooted this level of support for the club two seasons and the move helped Berekum Chelsea to reach the money zone of the CAF Champions League.

Last year the GFA helped Kotoko and New Edubiase on their continental campaigns with cash incentives which subsequently helped Ghana to regain its two slots in each of the continental club competitions.
