Ghana pair of David Accam and Ema Boateng will face Swedish champions Malmo FF in the semi-finals of the Svenska Cupen after their Helsingborg side was draw against them on Tuesday afternoon.

Helsingborg will make a trip to Malmo to face the Allsvenskan title-holders at the Malmo Swedbank Stadium with their early season title ambitions on the line.

The duo, both graduates of the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana, have been influential in the REDs Cupen title chase scoring crucial goals.

Accam, Helsingborg's main-man in attack has notched five important goals (the recent one coming in the 2-1 victory GAIS in the quarters) while Boateng has been on target once in three games.

Boateng, who has warmed himself well into Rene Hansen's regular squad, is confident of the seven-time  champions will secure a place in the final and push for a sixth Cup success.

"Yes I think we can beat them. It's the start of a new season so there's nothing to hold back. We just go into the game with the determination to win and play in the finals," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

While Helsingborg have won the Svenka Cupen 5 times (2011 being their last triumph), Accam and Boateng are hoping for their maiden silverware with the giants.
