Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila helped Mamelodi Sundowns exact revenge on Polokwane City with a 1-0 win on Saturday.
The 21-year-old was in full time action for the Brazilians as they secured the vital win to keep their title hopes alive in the South African top flight.
Sumailaââ¬â¢s impressive performance helped Pitso Mosimaneââ¬â¢s team keep a clean sheet against the side they painfully lost to in the first half of the season.
The Black Stars defenderââ¬â¢s return to good form has coincided with a run of positive results for Sundowns who went through a stale period while the Ghanaian was injured.
Sundowns are now just six points behind leaders Kaizer Chiefs with nine games left.
