Ghana defender Baba Abdul Rahman scored to help Greuther Furth win this year’s Frankfurt Cup with a 4-2 win over Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday.

The left-back scored just two minutes after Tom Weilandt had restored the Cloverleaves’ lead in the 20th minute following an opening strike by Llir Azemi.

Niclas Fulkrug made the win safe after Franfurt had scored to make the scores 3-2.

The win is the first piece of competitive success for Frank Kramer’s side who remain in the hunt to be crowned Bundeliga II champions.

Greuther Furth are second in the German top flight with 35 points – just four points behind leaders Koln after 19 games.
