Ghana defender John Paintsil says the decision to appoint Kwesi Appiah as the ‘perfect decision’ insisting the former international will deliver.
Appiah was appointed the permanent coach of the Black Stars at the start of the month following the sacking of Goran Stevanovic.
The former defender was the assistant coach to the Serbian manager and has assisted several foreign coaches who brought successes to the team.
Paintsil says the Ghana FA took the right decision in appointing the local coach.
“The decision to appoint Kwesi Appiah is the right move given the experiences he has and the knowledge he has,” Paintsil told Happy FM.
“I am more than 100% confident that he will deliver because the players respect him and he respects himself.
“He has helped some of the foreign coaches to achieve success and I know with what he has done at the various levels he will succeed.”
Appiah will play his first official game for Ghana in June when they take on Lesotho in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers.

Paintsil remain focused to pick your form and fight for a position rather using sugar coated words on the new coach in other to get some favors.
