Razak Nuhu denies lashing out at Ghanaian fans

Norway-based Ghana defender Razak Nuhu has denied hitting out at Ghanaian fans for ‘disrespecting’ national team players.

Reports circulated in the Ghanaian media on Wednesday claiming the Stromsgodset player criticized boo-boys at the Accra Sports Stadium during training ahead of the Nations Cup qualifier against Malawi.

The 21-year-old, who has two Ghana caps, has dismissed the reports carried by sections of the media as being misrepresented.

“I never talked about local fans being disrespectful. What I said was just blown out of proportion,” the left-back told MTNFootball.com

“Ghanaian fans are very wonderful fans and you saw how they got behind us against Malawi.”The reports are totally untrue and I think that is very disgusting.”

Nuhu made his Ghana debut in August’s 1-1 stalemate with China in an international friendly.
