Ghana defender Mensah delighted with injury return

John Mensah has recovered from injury

Ghana defender John Mensah is delighted to be making an injury return for Stade Rennes.

The center half recovered from a recent injury to take his place on the bench in Rennes 2-2 draw with Saint Etienne over the weekend.

Mensah has had his fare share of injury setbacks since arriving in January on a free transfer.

The ex Ghana captain is however delighted to have won his recent battle with injury and now wants to help his side finish well Ligue 1 and win the League Cup.

“I am happy that I made a return from injury,” he told MTNFootball.com.

“I want to help Rennes achieve something important this season.”

Mensah’s injuries has limited him to only one appearance for the Red and Blacks but will hopefully get more games now that he is fully fit.
