Ghana defender Kwabena Edusei is on cloud nine after grabbing his first goal for Mpumalanga Black Aces in their 3-2 win against Moroka Swallows.

The former Asante Kotoko defender rose above all in the 18-yard box of Swallows to restore Black Aces lead after Larry Cohen had pulled Swallows level in the Premier Soccer League match..

The goal which was his first since moving to the rainbow nation re-emphasizes Edusei’s threat going forward.

He says it’s a sweet feeling to be on the score sheet.

“The feeling is sweet but most importantly the three points was the most important thing,” Edusei said.

“I have been here for a couple of months and things are getting on well.

“I have had a good week and it was really nice to crown it off from international break with a goal that helped my team take all three points."

Edusei earned his maiden senior national team call-up in the 2015 AFCON qualifiers against Guinea but was unused.
