Ghana defender Jonathan Mensah wants suspended midfielders Kevin-Prince Boateng and Sulley Muntari to return to the Black Stars with the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers looming.

The two players were slapped with indefinite Black Stars suspensions for various acts of indiscipline during Ghana's participation in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Boateng was sacked from the camp for verbally assaulting coach Kwesi Appiah while Muntari was dismissed from the team for physically attacking Ghana FA official Moses Armah.

Despite their disciplinary problems, France-based defender Mensah says the two players are needed in the Black Stars who start their qualifying campaign against Uganda next month.

Asked, during a chat with fans on Twitter, if he would like to see the two players return to the Black Stars for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, Mensah replied "Yes! They're great players!!"

Mensah was fielded questions from football fans as well as a question from Black Stars winger David Accam who asked whether he would love to eat local dish.
