Ghana defender Jerry Akaminko is expected to return to action next week after spending three months on the sidelines. 

The 26-year-old has been declared fit by Eskisehirspor and he will be ready to in time next weekend to face Galatasaray.

Akaminko suffered an terrible an ankle injury while playing for Ghana against the Netherlands in a pre-World Cup tournament and has been out of action since.

However, his Turkish club have confirmed he will be able to join his team-mates for training on Tuesday and will be in shape along with midfielder Diego as the pair make a return from injury.

Eskisehirspor have been without their influential defender since the start of the Turkish Super Lig season but will have him available for selection for their weekend game.

Ghana could also  not use the defender for the 2015 AFCON qualifier against Uganda and Togo two weeks ago.
