Ghana defender Isaac Vorsah believes Portugal and Germany have the names but the Black Stars can upset the European giants.

Bookmakers have tipped German and Portugal to emerge out of Group G at the World Cup, but Vorsah insists Ghana will cause an upset.

The Red Bull Salzburg player who is expected to be fit early next year after a career-threatening knee injury is well convinced that the two European giants have the stars, but the Black Stars will be a team to beat.

''Portugal and Germany are already the favourites for the final of the World Cup. And Ghana being in a group with these two will not be easy,” Vorsah told African Top Sports. “Football is played on the field and not with names, we can upset them all.”

Vorsah is expected to marshal the defense with his huge experience when he gets to full fitness as the Black Stars open their account on June 16 with a game against the USA.
