Ghana defender Isaac Vorsah believes Portugal and Germany have the names but the Black Stars can upset the European giants.

Bookmakers have tipped German and Portugal to emerge out of Group G at the World Cup, but Vorsah insists Ghana will cause an upset.

The Red Bull Salzburg player who is expected to be fit early next year after a career-threatening knee injury is well convinced that the two European giants have the stars, but the Black Stars will be a team to beat.

”Portugal and Germany are already the favourites for the final of the World Cup. And Ghana being in a group with these two will not be easy,” Vorsah told African Top Sports. “Football is played on the field and not with names, we can upset them all.”

Vorsah is expected to marshal the defense with his huge experience when he gets to full fitness as the Black Stars open their account on June 16 with a game against the USA.

This has all the making of a classic confrontation, USA is talk smack like they don’t remember us, Portugal will be hit with the shit they never experienced and Germany will be surprise,if can hold them 1-0 then we can hold them 0-0 or beat them, this is 4 yrs later, we are younger stronger and faster.

I suspect GSN is unaware that it has international readership. It’s shocking that they keep making bad mistakes in spelling among others. Please clean up so that when the Americans, Portuguese, Germans, Brazilians and other football fans read news from and about Ghana, they don’t throw away their respect for us. Thank you.
