Samuel Inkoom claims Norwich are interested in signing him

Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom claims he’s being tracked by English side Norwich City, Daily Star has reported.

The centre-back, who can also double up as a full-back, is in search of regular first-team football in the New Year after falling out of favour at Dnipro.

The 24-year-old is keen to find a way out of the Ukrainian outfit ahead of the World Cup in Brazil next summer to make sure he features in the Ghana squad.

Dnipro are open to the sale in order to get Inkoom off their wage bill, who has Buy Viagra failed to nail down first-team place.

Several clubs from England's top flight are reportedly interested in the player's services, but the Canaries are leading the chase to sign the defender in the winter window.

"It is very important for me to be playing week in, week out with the World Cup coming up next summer," Inkoom said.

"I have not been allowed to do that for Dnipro and I hope to find a new club in January.

"I have had the chance to move to the Premier League in the past and I will not miss the chance this time if the right offer comes along."
