Ghana defender Harrison Afful says he has regained his full fitness for club and country.
The versatile Esperance player spent close to two months on the sidelines due to a knee injury which denied him a re-entry into the Black Stars for February’s friendly against Chile.
Afful played full throttle and provided one assist for the Tunisian side on Saturday in their 6-0 win over Dynamos of Zimbabwe in the CAF Champions League final round first leg qualifier.
Earlier on Wednesday, he was a second half substitute as they defeated Gabes 2-0 to end the first round of the Tunisian top-flight.
“I feel fit and ready for the rest of the season. There is a great improvement and I’m okay for any task,” Afful told MTNFootball.com
Afful was left out of Ghana’s squad to the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations despite an impressive campaign in last year’s Champions League.
He only goal lifted the trophy for the Tunis-based side.
