Baba Rahman impressed for Augsburg

Ghana defender Abdul Baba Rahman continued his impressive performance in the German Bundesliga for Augsburg who recorded a 2-0 win over Freiburg on Saturday.

The 21-year-old Black Stars full-back returned into Augsburg's starting line-up after starting from the bench last weekend and he shored up the defensive flanks, ceiling the spaces and pulling more balls forward and creating chances for his Augsburg's attackers to explore.

A goal in each halve from Paul Verhaegh and Halil Alt?ntop gave Augsburg the valuable three points.

Baba, a former Asante Kotoko defender, has started and completed eight games in the Bundesliga and came off the bench once as second-half substitute.

His assists have also come in influential for Augsburg season and said last week his club could win the Bundesliga title though they are occupying a mid-table place, 9th with 12 points and Saturday's win has ended their two-game winless streak.
