Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah is yet to slap in a proposal to the Ghana FA over his desire to take Stephen Appiah along as a member of his backroom staff to the World Cup.

The Black Stars trainer revealed in an interview earlier this month of his intention to add the former Ghana captain to his backroom staff for next year’s tournament in Brazil.

But the coach is yet to officially inform the Ghana FA about this desire.

The GFA however appear willing to meet Appiah’s wish once he makes it official.

“The coach is yet to put this proposal officially before the Ghana FA,” GFA spokesman Ibrahim Sannie-Daara told Peace FM.

“These are reports we have also gathered from the media but nothing has been brought before the FA at this point.

“I am sure once this proposal is made official, the Ghana FA will take steps towards making it possible.

“So now we await the coach to make this report official before taking the next step.”
