Ghana coach Avram Grant wants his team to keep up the momentum gained after the epic win over Algeria to beat South Africa on Tuesday.

The Black Stars are overwhelming favorites to pick one of the qualification slots from Group C with a win over Bafana Bafanain Mongomo.

Grant's team has recovered from an early wobble at the 2015 AFCON with a defeat to Senegal to beat Algeria to restore their chances.

The team will qualify for the quarter finals with a win over the exciting but sterile South Africa.

And coach Avram Grants wants his team to continue putting their best foot forward for Tuesday's clash.

"The key is to keep our momentum because the most important thing in this tournament is to learn from the last game because the most important is the next game,"he said.

"I think if you see the team in the last game, they showed a lot of mentality, a lot of mental strength and in the second half [against Algeria] also we were the better side and scored in the last moment so I hope that we continue like this.

"I have said it before it will be very difficult playing against South Africa. In most of the moments they played fantastic football.

"And we know it will be very difficult for us but it is also always our target to make it difficult for our opponent."
