Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah paid a visit to ailing Black Stars supporter Joseph Tagoe popularly known as ââ¬ËBaby Joeââ¬â¢ during his time in Kumasi last week.
The young entertainer is hospitalized after undergoing surgery to fix a kidney and liver problem.
The diminutive character is unlikely to make the trip to Brazil to offer entertainment to the Black Stars during the 2014 World Cup due to his condition.
News of ââ¬ËBaby Joeââ¬â¢sââ¬â¢ illness has prompted several solidarity from several Black Stars players, technical team members and Ghana FA officials.
Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah took time off during his time in Kumasi last week to be by the side of Tagoeââ¬â¢s recovering bed at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
The Black Stars trainer cracked jokes with ââ¬ËBaby Joeââ¬â¢ and wished him a speedy recovery.
Baby Joe is famous for his entertaining dance moves and hilarious crying antics at national team camps and games which earned him the ââ¬ÅOjoe Mensuâ⬠[Ojoe donââ¬â¢t Cry] tag.
Captain Asamoah Gyan has pledged the support of the entire Black Stars to Tagoe who will be sorely missed during the World Cup period.
