Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah warns of tough World Cup qualifiers

Kwesi Appiah knows the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers will be very tough

Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has urged his players to be on their mettle for tough battles in the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The ex-Black Stars captain saw his side-who beat Lesotho 7-0 in their opener-brought down to earth last Saturday in a 1-0 defeat to Zambia.

But they took consolation from Lesotho’s shock 0-0 draw with Sudan to throw the Group wide open.

Appiah managed four points from the available six and he was quick to identify threat posed by Sudan.

“The other team is Sudan and they showed by beating Zambia, they are also a good team,” Appiah said.

“The key for them [Sudan] is that they have been together for a very long time and so we are in a group where every game is going to be vital.”

Ghana’s next assignment in the qualifiers will be against leaders Sudan on March 22 2013 in Omdurman.

Managed 4 points from which 6? its 3 from a possible 6. Next time, he should play Clottey instead of Adiyiah. And for Christ sakes, if Inkoom flops, he should be replaced by Opare.

Coach it was these Sudanese who held us to a drawn game in Ghana when you were incharge temporary,so man select the right players to win matches for us rather than the Inkoom,Adiyiah, jordan and Derick,Vorsah and some of us are very sceptical about your ability to lead our team.

YOU SHOULD CHANNEL YOUR USELESS ENERGY AND WAYWARD SUGGESTIONS TO YOUR PREFERRED FUTURE COACH WHO WASN’T APPOINTED.WHY ARE SOME OF YOU SO IMPATIENT AND QUICK TO CONCLUDE? DO WE HAVE A MATCH LEFT OR UNDER ELIMINATION THREAT? SUDAN WHO ARE LEADERS OF OUR GROUP ARE JUST A POINT AHEAD OF US AND YOU’RE ALL SHITTING IN YOUR PANTS FOR NO REASON!ZAMBIA DIDN’T OUTPLAY US AND BY THE WAY THEY (ZAMBIA) WERE PLAYING AT HOME. STOP YOUR NONSENSE CRY AND HAVE FAITH IN COACHES APPIAH AND KONADU. DON’T BRING YOUR ETHNIC, TRIBAL AND RACIAL NONSENSE ON THIS FORUM BECAUSE WE’RE ON THE RIGHT PATH. THE SO-CALLED SERBIAN TACTICIANS DID NOTHING EXTRAORDINARY FOR GHANA FOR YOU BOZOS AND EMPTY-HEADS TO CALL FOR THEIR RETURN. IF YOU CLOWNS WERE NOT AWARE, APPIAH AND THE LOCAL COACHES DID THE BULK OF THE WORK FOR THESE SERBIANS WHEN THEY WERE IN CHARGE TO CLAIM THE CREDIT.MARK MY WORDS, GHANA WILL TOP THE GROUP WHEN ALL IS SAID AND DONE. YOU NAY SAYERS AND DEVIL AGENTS WILL SOON ZIP IT. GO BLACK STARS!!!
