Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has expressed satisfaction at his team's output in the two pre-Africa Cup of Nations friendly matches.

Appiah tested all players named for tournament in the matches against Egypt and Tunisia although there are injury concerns.

The Black Stars have conceded two goals and scored seven with captain Asamoah Gyan emerging top scorer with two goals.

"My ambition was to allow every player to take part in these two games that we played," Appiah remarked.

"When you 're building a team, you don't concentrate very few players. You are going with 23 players and it is important that each and every player takes part in these trial games

"Looking at the Egypt and Tunisia games, tactically I'm looking at how we attack, how we defend and at the same time, how we construct our set pieces."

Ghana will leave Abu Dhabi on Wednesday for Port Elizabeth where they play DR Congo on 20 January, Mali four days later.

Their final Group B match will be against Niger on 28 January.
